For our Account Management, Business Development & Sales team within the Customer Unit Retail based in Münster – Am Mittelhafen, we are looking for a  (Senior) Operations Excellence Manager (m/w/d) to join us.

What you will do

  • Drive Operational Excellence, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites by partnering with site leadership to improve productivity, service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Lead strategic customer implementations and new business activities, ensuring successful ramp-ups and achievement of business case objectives.
  • Develop standardized governance models, KPI frameworks and reporting structures while analyzing operational performance to identify optimization opportunities and drive measurable efficiency gains.
  • Identify automation and innovation opportunities and lead their evaluation and implementation together with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a trusted business partner for Operations, Key Account Management, IT and Customer Service, leading cross-functional improvement and transformation initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Reviews and critical customer situations by providing operational insights, performance transparency and risk assessments.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and change initiatives to deliver sustainable operational excellence across the network.

What you bring

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive experience in contract logistics, e-commerce, retail logistics or comparable operational environments, with a proven track record in Operational Excellence, implementations, operational optimization and transformation initiatives across complex customer and network operations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate KPIs, forecasts, budgets and business cases into data-driven decisions; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of warehouse operations and end-to-end supply chain management.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally, to support sites and customers on location.
  • Fluent English communication skills; German is an advantage.
